![]() ![]() I have a 512GB Steam Deck with latest non-beta release, and followed the guide to install rEFInd. I believe this is because rEFInd was working out of the original installation folder, not from the files copied to the modified "boot" folder as outlined in the guide. It would find a "Windows" entry (as entered in the nfig file as per the guide) but would fail to boot from it or even find the assigned logo. The problem came when installing rEFInd using the guide. I'm very familiar with installing Windows, partitioning disks, etc., so getting the Deck's internal SSD partitioned, installing Windows 11 etc., was relatively easy. Long story short, the rEFInd part did not work. ![]() However, like many of you, I followed the YouTube guide for Dual Booting Windows 11 on the Steam Deck by Deck Wizard found here. I will preface this by saying I'm no Linux expert, nor am I super familiar with rEFInd. ![]()
